FERTILITY ACUPUNCTURE
COSMETIC ACUPUNCTURE
Acupuncture can help increase ones fertility in men and women by reducing stress, increasing blood flow to the reproductive organs and balancing the endocrine system. Essentially for a woman who is trying to get pregnant, acupuncture treatments for fertility will help create internal “homeostasis” within a woman’s womb. Think of it as baking a cake, the oven needs to be the right temperature for that cake to bake. Specifically acupuncture can provide better blood flow to the ovaries and uterus, creating a stronger chance for an egg to be nourished and carried to term.
Acupuncture may also help with male infertility. Recent studies have shown that regular acupuncture treatments significantly improve sperm counts and motility.
Cosmetic acupuncture or “facial rejuvenation acupuncture” is a non-invasive procedure designed to address fine lines and wrinkles, as well as improve the overall appearance and complexion of the skin. It is based on the principles of traditional Chinese Medicine, which involves the insertion of very thin disposable laser cut needles about .013min in diameter into the origin and the insertion point of the primary facial muscles. This superficial insertion will increase the local circulation to the face and stimulate collagen production, which will fill out the lines. Needling the origin and insertion of a muscle causes an acute muscle spasm, this gives firmness to the skin for a healthy, glowing complexion.
A 1996 report in the international journal of clinical acupuncture revealed that of 300 controlled test cases who received cosmetic acupuncture 90% of the participants had positive results after one course of treatments (one course of treatment involved 10-12 sessions).

AURICULAR ACUPUNCTURE AND WEIGHT CONTROL
Auriculotherapy is the stimulation of the auricle ( The outer projecting portion) of the external ear for the diagnosis and treatment of health conditions in distal parts of the body. It is also known as “ear acupuncture” or auricular acupuncture. Stimulation of acupuncture points on the ear are achieved by the insertion of acupuncture needles, seeds, tacks or magnetic beads. Specific points may be left in the ear and can be stimulated by manual pressure.
